We've had a rather unpleasant experience with Unforgettable Expeditions as well. We booked a last-minute cruise and as a 2-day package in Isabela Island, with them (Kathy is the owner of this agency). Although we had no complaints about the cruise; the package in Isabela Island was a little bit of a disaster. On arrival at Isabela it turned out that Kathy had not paid the hotel owner we were staying at. We spent the next 2 days chasing Kathy for her to find a way to pay him, during that time however she was unreachable and when reached, was unable to come up with any suitable explanation. Our financial losses were limited (we only had to pay for our own transportation back to Puerto Ayoro), Kathy however did promise us to repay us on arrival in Quito, but failed to meet us at the many meetings we had set up. She also was generally not making any effort to communicate with us. We made no further effort to recuperate the money, after we left Quito. Kathy comes accross as a very knowledgeable travel agent, and managed to convince us to purchase the last minute cruise deal solely on her knowledge of the Galapagos (we've travelled a lot, so don't think of ourselves as naive)... Based on our experience I would however strongly suggest avoiding dealing with her and her travel agency.
