I have been in quito for almost two years and have come across a lot of people who are travel agents, hostel owners, etc.. One that does both that I can recommend is Katrien, who runs two hostels in Ltacunga and has a last minute galapagos company.  tell her jon recommended you.  the galapagos email is info@galapagoslastminutes.comIf you are in Quito and want a hostel that is social and serves great food, try the secret garden in Old Town.. I highly recommend booking through www.galapagos-inc.com. I visited Galapagos 2 years ago and booked through this company (also known as Wildlife Vacations). They were very helpful, and understanding of what I wanted out of my trip. They helped me decide when the best time was to go, what to bring, what to wear, and what to do while there. Hey Kenneth, I just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful recommendation! I recently finished planning and booking my 7 day trip to Galapagos with my wife and 3 kids.
