Galapagos Polaris
Traveling aboard the 80 passenger M/V Polaris is a total experience in Galapagos Islands expeditionary cruising. The ship is large enough to operate in remote environments in total comfort, yet small enough to enter ports and narrow inlets inaccessible to bigger ships.
When we say total comfort we mean; air-conditioning throughout the ship. All cabins are outside cabins with windows or portholes, and in-suite facilities. First Class all the way. Each cabin is furnished with lower berths, private shower, sink and toilet. There are many comfortable public areas, which include: A sunny observation lounge with bar, piano, and facilities for films, slide shows and lectures, a library with an exceptional collection of books, a covered deck with chairs and tables, an "open bridge" policy w/ satellite communication equipment, souvenir shop, gym with sauna, and hospital with doctor on board.
The spacious dining room, has wrap-around views through picture windows. The menu is international, with fine cuisine prepared by accomplished chefs. She carries a fleet of Zodiacs and her own glass-bottom boat, making the undersea world accessible to everyone.
