Galapagos Untamed 11 Days
Galapagos Untamed aboard the Hermes Mega Catamaran is an 11-day, 10-night expedition through Santa Cruz, Rabida, Bartolome, South Plaza, Santa Fe, San Cristobal, Española, Floreana, Chinese Hat, and Genovesa, beginning at Baltra Airport and concluding with a final exploration of Black Turtle Cove before returning to the airport. The journey brings together free-roaming Galapagos Giant Tortoises, Galapagos Penguins, land and marine iguanas, sea lions, flamingos, sea turtles, rays, sharks, frigatebirds, and major colonies of Blue-footed, Red-footed, and Nazca Boobies, along with the Waved Albatrosses described in the source. Hiking, snorkeling, swimming, panga excursions, wet and dry landings, beaches, volcanic terrain, lagoons, mangroves, nesting colonies, and historic sites shape the experience, while the San Cristobal Interpretation Center and Charles Darwin Research Station add perspectives on the natural history and conservation of the archipelago.

Day by day

Day 1: Giant Tortoises & the Misty Highlands of Santa Cruz
Arrive at Baltra Airport, where a Hermes guide will welcome you to the Galapagos and escort you to Seymour dock. Board the superyacht and enjoy lunch before beginning your first afternoon excursion. Ascend from the arid coast into the lush, humid environment of the Santa Cruz Highlands and visit a tortoise sanctuary where Galapagos Giant Tortoises roam freely. Observe these iconic animals grazing, resting, and bathing in the mud within their natural habitat. The afternoon also introduces the volcanic origins of Santa Cruz with a walk inside an impressive lava tunnel, a subterranean passage formed by ancient molten rock.
Day 2: Red-Sand Rabida & the Legendary Pinnacle Rock
Make a wet landing on Rabida Island and immediately encounter its distinctive deep-red sand, created by the high iron oxide content in the lava. Follow a trail to a brackish lagoon while searching for Greater Flamingos and White-cheeked Pintails, then climb through a Palo Santo forest toward a lookout with panoramic views over the red bay, mangroves, and nearby islets. Snorkeling offshore provides opportunities to swim with sea lions and colorful reef fish and possibly encounter juvenile sharks and stingrays. In the afternoon, explore Bartolome Island and its famous Pinnacle Rock. Follow a wooden boardwalk toward the summit for sweeping views of the volcanic landscape and crescent-shaped beaches before snorkeling in the cool, clear waters around Pinnacle Rock in search of Galapagos Penguins, sea lions, and possibly large sea turtles.
Day 3: Land Iguanas, Giant Cacti & Santa Fe Sea Lions
Day 4: Three Boobies & the White Shores of San Cristobal
Day 5: Sea Lion Island, Galapagos History & Tijeretas Hill
Day 6: Española: Sea Lion Shores & the Wildlife of Suarez Point
Day 7: Floreana: Green Sands & the Legendary Post Office
Day 8: The Conservation Heart of Santa Cruz
Day 9: Dragon Hill & the Underwater World of Chinese Hat
Day 10: Genovesa: Kingdom of the Seabirds
Day 11: Black Turtle Cove: A Final Journey Through the Mangroves
