Santa Cruz: Dragon Hill

Visit to Dragon Hill, located in the northern part of Santa Cruz Island, will be held in the afternoon. You will be able to visit the island and see the land iguana. These reptiles are now in danger of extinction.

Dragon Hill also has a flamingo's lagoon, pintail ducks, and other endemic birds like flycatchers, warblers, and flycatchers. A short hike up the hill will reveal a stunning view. Before returning to the yacht, we can go snorkeling off the coast.

Kicker Rock

Kicker Rock is the first place to visit in the morning. This impressive geological formation was formed by erosion. This area is home to many seabirds. You will also find curious sea lions and other marine life, including fish, turtles, sharks, and rays. This is the main attraction when snorkeling. This is a great spot for taking pictures.

Witch Hill

Next, visit Witch Hill, a tuff-cone hill that is located south of San Cristobal. This name is derived from the Spanish name for the bird, known as Vermilion Flycatcher in English.

Zodiac rides will take you to amazing rock formations on the island shore. This magical location features a white sandy beach and clear waters. This is a great spot to snorkel.

Lobos Island

You will then be taken to Lobos Island in the afternoon. Here you can observe a small number of blue-footed frigates, blue-footed frigates, marine Iguanas and great frigate bird nesting. This excursion also includes snorkeling with sea lions at this calm bay.

Today, Espanola Island is being explored. The Hood-Mockingbird will be on display. This island is the southernmost in the Galapagos archipelago and home to many wildlife species including blue-footed and masked boobies. Amazing views from the top a cliff.

Gardner Bay

After breakfast, Gardner Bay is the first place to see. It has a great beach and is a popular spot for swimming. Snorkelers will find many fish, turtles, and sharks around the small islands. You may also find colonies of sea lions in the bay, which are happy to swim alongside you.

You can also visit Osborn or Gardner islands, which are great for underwater exploration. This visitor point is famous for its snorkeling.

Suarez Point

After lunch, Point Suarez, one of the archipelago's most spectacular wildlife areas, will be visited. It is home to a wide range of species that can be found along its cliffs, sand, or pebble beaches.

Santa Fe Island

After breakfast, Santa Fe Island will be visited. This island is one of the most popular destinations for shore excursions in Galapagos Islands. There are two trails to choose from. One takes you to the highest Opuntia plant in the Galapagos. The other takes you to the highlands, where land iguanas are possible to be seen. It's worth the long trek to be able to enjoy calm waters and snorkel with playful sealions after a while.

Santa Cruz Island: Breeding Center

Visit the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center in the afternoon. Also known as Charles Darwin Research Station, The place includes an information center, museum, library, and a tortoise-breeding station. You can find tortoises from different subspecies in the tortoise-breeding station. They are ready for reintroduction back to their natural habitats. This Station's most famous resident is the Lonesome George turtle. It died in 2012.

South Plazas Island

South Plazas Island can be found in the morning. You will find unique Opuntia cactuses and Sesuvium plants scattered throughout the landscape, which make it one of the most fascinating wildlife observation sites in Galapagos.
Land iguanas can be seen easily from the trail. They are often found under the shade of cactuses waiting for a pear to fall.

Bartolome Island

Bartolome Island will be discovered after lunch. You will be able to see the stunning views of the Sullivan Bay from the top of this mountain, as well as the Pinnacle Rock. You can snorkel from the beaches at the Pinnacle Rock's foot to discover the amazing underwater world. If you are lucky, you might even be able to swim with penguins.

Devil's Crown

After breakfast, you will visit Devil's Crown, an underwater volcanic crater that is almost completely covered by Galapagos waters. Only a small part of the rock formation can been seen from the top and it looks almost like a crown. Coral reefs and many marine species are abundant in the underwater world. Because it is located in open water, birds are also part this visitor point.

Cormorant Point

Cormorant Point is another option. Here you'll find a green olivine-sand beach. You will eventually reach the lagoon with flamingos by following a 100 meter long path.

You will visit Mirador de la Baronesa in the afternoon. This viewpoint can be found on the northern side of Floreana Island. To make it easier, there are steps in this area. The murder and mystery tale of the Baroness will be told by your naturalist guide.

Post Office Bay

You can also go to the Post Office Bay to see the famous post barrel used by whalers to send their mail.

Chinese Hat Islet

After breakfast, you'll visit Chinese Hat in the morning. It is located off the south coast, at 160 feet (52 metres) elevation.

North Seymour Island

North Seymour Island will be discovered in the afternoon. It can be found just north of Baltra. It is a flat, low island formed by submarine lava eruption uplift. It is covered with dense, low-growing vegetation and home to the most impressive colony of frigate birds in all of the Galapagos. It also has a large population blue-footed bobies, which perform a charming courtship dance when the nesting conditions are perfect.

Santa Cruz Island: Black Turtle Cove

After breakfast, enjoy the visit to Black Turtle Cove, which is located on the north shore of Santa Cruz . It is a living illustration of how mangroves alter the marine environment to create a rich and unique habitat. Three mangrove species crowd the area from the shore out into the lagoon, which reaches almost a mile inland.

As you drift through quiet waters in the zodiac, you are likely to see spotted eagle rays and diamond shaped mustard rays, which swim in a diamond formation. White-tipped reef sharks slip beneath the boat and Pacific green sea turtles come to the surface for air and to mate. Waterfowl, including pelicans, herons and egret, all feed in the cove. This is a peaceful place that will make you feel calm.

After this last visit, transfer to Baltra airport for your return flight to mainland Ecuador.
