The Camila yacht was named after one of her owner's daughters. When Camilo Chauca was looking at the blueprints of the boat, he immediately knew that this was the best boat he would build, hence he decided to give it the name of someone he cherished dearly. A boat that was given such attention to every detail is worthy of the most demanding guests. The luxurious feeling of boarding a state of the art yacht is only second to boarding the yacht in the marvellous setting of the enchanted isles. The Camila is a trimaran and is one of the newest and most tastefuly designed boats to come out of the Guayaquil shipyards.
Of course the islands steal the show, so be prepared to observe the Galapagos wildlife up-close as you walk alongside giant tortoises, nazca boobies, frigate birds, swim with penguins and sea turltes. Every itinerary the luxury class Camila yacht navigates has been planned with similar care as her construction. Each route is made up of handpicked visitor sites in an order that optimizes navigation in between islands. The scenery, the endemic animals, plants and marine life will sweep you away as your mother ship takes you graciously from one island to another. A full 15 day loop has been divided into shorter segments of 3, 4 and 7 night cruises visiting every corner of the archipelago.
Her sleek lines and marine architecture make her a high performer, she is silent at sea and offrers a smooth ride. The 8 Cabins on board the Camila have balconies, are spacious and fully equiped with private bathrooms, A/C and high standard linens. Social areas are both indoors and outdoors, allowing her patrons to enjoy a constant view of the amazing volcanic scenery. The lounge and dining area are on the main deck and are air conditioned, furnished with elegant spaces as well as spacious enough to accomodate her 16 guests at ease. The sun deck is an open observation platform, equipped with loungers, a bar and a hot tub, it is the optimal area to watch the sun go down after a full day of island adventures.
On board the Camila, the crew is passionate about offering 5 star service. The well trained guides go the extra mile to explain the natural history of the Galapagos Islands, it's biology, geographical features and ecology in a non scientific and entertaining way so all guests can have an educational experience amongst this wilderness paradise.
